These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of games, websites, and related services provided by Coya Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing, downloading, purchasing, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to:

  • games published or distributed by Coya Labs

  • official websites operated by Coya Labs

  • support services

  • related online content or features we provide

Third-party platforms (such as Steam) operate under their own terms and policies.

Purchases, payments, refunds, platform accounts, and platform-specific rights may be governed by those providers separately.

2. License to Use

Subject to these Terms and any applicable platform terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our services for personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of the software or related content.

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved.

3. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in our games, software, branding, content, assets, design, code, and related materials remain the property of Coya Labs or applicable rights holders.

These Terms do not grant ownership rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary source code except where legally permitted or where expressly permitted for supported modding, interoperability, or customization features

  • redistribute, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the software without permission

  • interfere with normal operation of the services

  • exploit bugs or vulnerabilities in ways that cause harm

  • attempt unauthorized access to infrastructure, backend systems, or services

  • use automation, bots, or scripts to abuse online systems

  • engage in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity through the services

Reasonable modding, customization, or lawful interoperability rights required by applicable law are not restricted by this section.

5. Modding and User Modifications

We may permit or encourage modding, customization, extensions, or other user-created modifications for supported games.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

  • mods are created and used at your own risk

  • we do not guarantee compatibility across updates

  • mods may stop functioning after patches or content changes

  • mods must not be used for unlawful purposes, abuse, malicious activity, or unauthorized access

  • mods must not infringe third-party intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to restrict or disable modifications that compromise service integrity, security, or user safety.

User-created mods remain the responsibility of their creators.

6. Platform Services

Some current or future functionality may rely on third-party platforms or online services, such as Steam.

We are not responsible for third-party platform outages, account actions, payment processing, or platform policy enforcement.

Your use of those services is governed by their respective agreements.

7. Purchases and Refunds

Purchases made through third-party platforms are processed by those platforms.

Refund eligibility, payment disputes, taxes, regional pricing, and billing issues are governed by the platform through which the purchase was made.

For Steam purchases, Steam’s own policies apply.

8. Updates and Changes

We may release updates, patches, fixes, balancing changes, content adjustments, or feature changes.

For early access or actively developed titles, features may change, be modified, delayed, or removed.

We are not obligated to maintain specific features indefinitely.

9. Early Access Disclaimer (If Applicable)

If a game is labeled as early access, preview, cygnet, nightly, alpha, beta, experimental, or similar:

  • content may be incomplete

  • features may change significantly

  • bugs, crashes, and instability may occur

  • balancing and gameplay systems may evolve

Purchasing or using such software acknowledges that development is ongoing.

10. User Content

If our services allow you to submit content (such as screenshots, reports, feedback, bug reports, or other submissions), you retain ownership of your content.

However, by submitting content to us, you grant us a non-exclusive right to use, reproduce, and process that content as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide support

  • investigate issues

  • improve services

  • operate related systems

We do not claim ownership of your original submissions.

11. Termination

We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary, including for:

  • abuse

  • fraud

  • technical misuse

  • unlawful activity

  • security protection

Where platform access is controlled by a third party (such as Steam), platform enforcement may also affect access.

12. Disclaimers

Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee:

  • uninterrupted operation

  • absence of bugs

  • compatibility with every system configuration

  • perpetual availability of specific services or features

Software, especially actively developed software, may contain defects.

13. Feedback

If you voluntarily submit feedback, suggestions, bug reports, ideas, or improvement proposals, you grant us permission to use that feedback without obligation, compensation, or attribution.

This does not transfer ownership of unrelated original content you create.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Coya Labs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or similar damages arising from use of the services.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where exclusion is prohibited by law.

15. Privacy

Use of our services may involve limited data handling as described in our Privacy Policy.

Please review the Privacy Policy for details.

16. Regional Rights

Some jurisdictions provide consumer protections that cannot be waived.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you are legally entitled to under applicable law.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes become effective when published unless otherwise required by law.

Continued use after updated Terms are published indicates acceptance of the revised Terms, where legally permitted.
