Introduction

Lumen is a Discord bot providing utility features for the Unreal Engine Discord server (https://discord.gg/RhsxUpSs4b).

Private Voice Channels

A simple feature that allows anyone to join the "Join To Create VC" channel:

This lets Lumen create a private voice channel accessible only to the creator and the people they add with those commands:

vc allow - Allow access for a user to your channel
vc deny - Remove/kick a user from your channel

Scam Detection

Lumen will detect, flag, delete, and warn the user in case their account gets stolen and starts posting messages matching common scam patterns. (text/images)

Ticketing System

A simple ticketing system with mod actions for:

• Close (Closes the ticket with a reason and an optional delay)

• Acknowledge (Sends a message in the ticket saying the ticket has been received by staff)

After closing, a topic and summary for the ticket will be generated and applied to the thread name for easier lookup.

Forum DM Warning

In the find-your-people forum, Lumen will send a warning DM to the post author when someone sends a message like "dm me" inside the post.

Lumen is only available to the Unreal Engine Discord server, it will not be public anytime soon.
